I grew up by the sea and still work best where it is quiet. Most of my projects start as walks.
I trained as a printmaker and came to photography late, through the camera my grandfather left behind. Today I split my time between long personal series, editorial commissions and small print editions.
I like slow projects: a place visited for two winters, a sketchbook kept for a month, a room photographed in the light it already has. Clients come to me when they want work that feels observed rather than staged.
